Achieving Excellence in Health & Safety Seminar
South East Employers are introducing another new concept in health and safety events: 'Achieving Excellence in Health and Safety are occasional one day seminars aimed at promoting best practice amongst public sector employers. topics will be chosen that are acknowledged as current health and safety priorities and the seminars will feature speakers who are recognised as specialists in their field. Topic: 'Managing Waste and Recycling Services for Health and Safety'
This seminar will cover best practice aspects of managing waste and recycling from a health and safety viewpoint, including local authority responsibilities as clients in terms of selecting and managing waste management contractors. It will also cover the new guidance recently issued by Health and safety Executive which will be used by the HSE when they inspect wast management operations.
Guest Speaker:Mike Wilcock, HSE Head of Operations for the South East region will outline the priorities for the health and Safety Executive in terms of the management of waste management operations.
Fundamentals of Health and Safety
SEE are introducing a new concept in health and safety training. Fundamentals of Health and Safety are practical one-day workshops aimed at providing managers with skills necessary to be able to manage health and safety effectively on a day to day basis.
