Robin provides bespoke consultancy support and development services to Councillors, Council Staff and Partners across the South East region.  He works closely with customers to develop workshops and programmes that explore the strategic leadership, management development and organisational change issues which matter to them.

Recent examples of Robin’s bespoke consultancy support include:

  • Facilitation of workshops to explore the implications of the new Local Area Agreements for Partnership Governance (on behalf of the Government Office of the South East).

  • Working with Local Strategic Partnership practitioners in the region to identify shared priority capacity development outcomes and access funding (on behalf of the South East “Progress through Partnership” programme).

  • Facilitating project steering group and senior management team away day sessions on business case development, risk analysis and project planning (on behalf of Mole Valley District Council).

Robin was part of the first cohort of management trainees to successfully complete the IDeA’s National Graduate Development Programme for Local Government.  He has worked within a variety of local authority teams including Education, Social Services and Housing, Corporate Policy, Performance and Scrutiny, Human Resources and Organisational Development.

Robin is a Prince2™ Project Management Registered Practitioner; has a Postgraduate Diploma in Local Government Management (PDLGM); a Masters Degree in Critical and Cultural Theory (MA); and a BA (Hons) in English Literature.
