Sue has worked in training and development for many years and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD). She was seconded to South East Employers from Waverley Borough Council in 1997 to work on a European training project. Sue took on her current role as Improvement & Development consultant in 2000. She has extensive experience of managing and delivering training and of managing in-house consultancy assignments, working both with officers and Elected Members.

Approach to Training

Sue has a participative style, believing that learning is most effective when delegates are fully involved in the training. She makes efforts to ensure that participants are relaxed and feel comfortable and confident enough to contribute. Programmes are designed to ensure that all learning styles are catered for and there is a mix of individual group work as well as tutor input.
