Health and Safety Awareness

A half day course aiming to improve your awareness of Health and Safety in the workplace.

Target audience

Managers, supervisors and employees who have an interest in learning about or "brushing up" on health and safety in the workplace.

About us

SEE is a Regional Employers' Organisation. We offer advice to local authorities across the south east, in addition to a range of training, development and consultancy opportunities tailored to your needs.

At the end of the course, delegates should have an awareness and understanding of:

• the key legal requirements of employers and employees under the Health and Safety at Work, etc. Act
• the principal health, safety and fire hazards in an office environment, and be able to suggest means of avoiding or minimising them
• the specific hazards associated with the use of Display Screen Equipment (VDUs, PCs, etc) and the control measures to be taken.
