Induction Seminars

Every year, SEE offers a series of Induction Seminars for newly elected councillors, at various locations across the region. These events are free of charge to SEE member authorities. The seminars provide an overview of key issues for Councillors, both at a local and national level, together with workshop sessions designed to offer both practical skills and invaluable advice. Sessions are delivered jointly by SEE member peers and consultants.

We are holding two induction events this year:

• 28 June – Elmbridge
• 5 July – Southampton

In addition, SEE can provide in-house induction programmes for authorities, tailored to meet the needs of its new councillors and complimenting sessions provided by the authority.
