The Charter for Elected Member Development Network

Aim

The Implementation Network has been established to support councils working towards the Charter or undertaking continuous improvement having successfully committed to the Charter for Elected Member Development. The Network will give councillors and officers an opportunity to:

  • share good and excellent practice
  • network with councils working towards the Charter
  • create shared learning opportunities

To support greater sharing and networking amongst Charter councils; South East LGA, East of England LGA, London Councils and Northern Ireland Local Government Association(NILGA) have joined up to offer a single Joint Charter for Elected Member Development Network for the four regions.
