Working at Height Briefing

A half-day workshop aimed at ensuring that employers and workers are aware of the risks involved with work at height and can comply with the requirements of the Work at Height Regulations 2005.

Target audience

Managers, supervisors and operatives, involved in building, repair, refurbishment, etc. who will either work at height themselves or be responsible for others who work at height.

This workshop will cover:

  • the potential risks involved with work at height
  • the key provisions of the Work at Height Regulations 2005 (WAH Regs 2005)
  • the key precautions to be taken based on the hierarchy of measures and a risk assessment approach
  • the circumstances under which the use of ladders is allowed under WAH Regs 2005 and the precautions to be taken in such situations.
