Learning modules and toolkits

PtP has developed a series of learning modules to raise awareness about key partnership issues.  These are aimed at elected members and partners to help increase awareness and understanding of partnerships, and the opportunities they present.

The contents of the modules form a toolkit which can be used as the basis for delivery of a two hour session in three formats:

  • By a practitioner in the local area with relevant knowledge

  • By a PtP Practitioner Associate from elsewhere in the region

  • By an expert consultant

To maximise the impact of the session delivery by a combination of facilitators from more than one background is recommended.

Practitioner Associates are funded through the PtP programme and are free at the point of use, expert consultants would not automatically be funded through the PtP programme.

  • Practitioner delivery will allow attention to be focused on local circumstances

  • PtP practitioner Associates bring a ‘grass routes perspective’ from elsewhere in the region

  • Expert consultants offer in depth knowledge of the subject.
