A brief update on the responses from the Trade Unions to the Employers’ full and final pay offers.
- UNISON have recommended rejection and will ballot members from 5th to 28th June
- Unite have also recommended that their members reject the offer. We do not have the timescale for the Unite ballot
- GMB – the Committee is “disappointed” with the offer but have been informed that members do not wish to prolong the ballot process. The Committee has decided to ballot members without a recommendation, and the ballot will run from 3rd June to 5th July
There will therefore be no further action/information on the NJC and Craftworkers pay settlements until the ballots close.
