The three NJC Trade Unions have confirmed the outcomes of their ballots on the NJC Employers’ ‘full and final offer’ for Green Book employees of an increase of £1,290 on all NJC pay points 2 to 43 inclusive, and an increase of 2.50 per cent on all pay points above point 43 but graded below deputy chief officer.  The ballot outcomes are:

UNISON – reject (81% of those who voted)

Unite – reject (85% of those who voted, with 88% of those indicating they are prepared to take strike action)

GMB – accept (“a majority of members who voted”)

We now await further information/communication from the Trade Unions.

These results cover Green Book employees only.  The Trade Unions were holding separate ballots for Craftworkers and Chief Officers.  The results of these are expected within the next few days.
