LGA: Flexible working in schools: Ideas and solutions for a whole-school approach
At this webinar, funded by Government you will hear from the Department for Education (DfE) about the policy context and their approach to promoting greater use of flexible working in the education sector.
One of the recently announced Flexible Working Ambassador schools will outline the programme and the initiatives they will undertake to add to the body of evidence that supports greater flexible working in schools and trusts.
Timewise (flexible working specialists) and Talent Architect (Education Consultant) will talk about a proactive, whole-school approach; what schools are already doing this well and they will outline their DfE-funded project of leadership training in the autumn term.
You will also hear about the work that a local authority is doing to support their schools with flexible working, and from the National Governance Association which will provide their insight into the role of accountability and engagement of the wider community.
