Preparing for the Employment Rights Bill

We are delighted to host this event in partnership with mpm legal, a leading employment law firm in our region.

The SEE team will be joined by Peter and Adrienne, Partners at mpm legal, to look at what elements of the bill are most likely to be applicable to Councils in our region, and how they can begin to prepare for them. It will also cover likely timescales for implementation and practical top tips that Councils should start considering now.

Following a keynote session from mpm legal, Councils will be invited to take part in breakout groups facilitated by SEE to discuss areas of the Bill which may have most impact on them, and potential solutions. After reconvening, the SEE team will share anonymised ideas with mpm legal who will offer their expert view and scrutiny.

We welcome suggestions of any specific areas which Councils would find useful to hear about. If there is a particular area of the Employment Rights Bill you would like to hear about, please email ben@seemp.co.uk ahead of the event.
