Helen Power is SEE’s Business Officer and works closely with the Business Manager and wider team to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. She helps to administer the services we provide, supports the delivery of our events, and is often the first point of contact for members, responding to queries and connecting people with the right information and networks.
Helen’s role has a strong digital focus. She helps to ensure SEE’s online presence, including our websites and social media channels, stays current, accurate and engaging, so that members can easily access the support, guidance and resources they need. She also supports our finance and accounts processes, helping to make sure our work is well planned and well managed. Alongside her digital responsibilities, Helen brings extensive experience in marketing and events, which she uses to help shape and promote SEE’s activities for maximum impact.
Helen is Producer and Editor of The HR Edit and Governance Matters podcasts, working with colleagues and guests to share learning, insight and practical examples from across the sector. She is also one of our lead officers for the Organisation Intelligence Service, providing clear and reliable benchmarking data to support evidence based decision making.
Helen brings more than ten years of experience working across different teams in council organisations, giving her a strong understanding of the realities, pressures and priorities our members are dealing with every day.
