Jess is the HR Business Partner at South East Employers (SEE), and joined the organisation in January 2025. She is an accomplished HR professional with a proven track record in handling complex Employee Relations (ER) matters within the public sector. Before joining SEE, she worked as a Senior HR Advisor for a consultancy firm, based in-house for a local government company, one of their largest clients. Comprising a total of just under 700 employees, Jess provided generalist HR advice across the full spectrum of HR policies and procedures whilst also delivering a HR training programme for Managers. 

Jess delivers high quality professional support to workplace investigations for SEE clients, acting as an independent investigator, consults across all ER matters as part of SEE’s HR Advice service along with facilitating networking events and delivering training events. 

Jess is experienced in providing ER guidance and coaching to managers of all levels, ensuring the production of high-quality investigation reports and fair, evidence-based decision making. She has a keen ability to remain objective and consistently delivering clear conclusions while upholding employment legislation, fair processes and best practice. 

In addition to local government, Jess has experience providing HR support across Charity, IT and Printing (warehouse) industries working with employees of all levels, 3rd parties and Trade Unions. She is a level 5 Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). 

After having spent 10 years working in digital advertising, she decided to make a career change into HR to follow her passion in helping others fulfil their professional potential and enjoyment of work life. Jess is commercially focused, proactive, conscientious and reliable with strong communication skills. Her warm and polite nature allows her to work well with people of all levels to provide advice, support and coaching whilst her can-do attitude and passion for correctness drives her to complete work to a high standard.
