Knowing how you’re doing against performance indicators as well as how you compare to other organisations can drive your business forward. Analytics give you the information you need to make reasoned decisions about where to invest your time and money in order to improve.
We’re here to help, whether it’s a couple of questions that we include in a mini-survey, more extensive benchmarking information or help with employee surveys.

Mini Surveys
We regularly circulate mini-surveys to HR contacts, Education HR contacts, Health and Safety contacts or Democratic Services contacts on behalf of our councils. Topics have included sickness absence, facilities time, multi-disciplinary job descriptions, and the living wage. Only SEE member councils can commission a mini survey.

LGA Workforce Survey
We work with colleagues at the LGA to gather workforce data to aid understanding of the issues facing the sector.
During the COVID-19 pandemic we are working to collect key workforce data from all councils in the South East Region.

Employee Surveys
Employees are often reluctant to complete workplace surveys honestly if the responses are being collected and collated in-house. We can work with you to design and deliver the survey you need and then we are the independent organisation who receives the responses. We anonymise and collate the data, presenting it in an easy to read report ready for your management team.

Members’ Allowance Survey
Councils are required to review their allowances scheme on a regular basis. SEE can help with this as we run an annual survey. All councils in the region are asked to participate and the results are made available to everyone who responds. We’re pleased to report that for the 2017/2018 survey we had a 100% response rate.
