Purpose

This workshop is designed to clarify the roles and responsibilities of elected councillors and officers working within the ‘Strong Leader Model’ of governance. The workshop will promote discussion and dialogue in respect of the relationship between officers and councillors and provide councillors with the opportunity to develop their understanding of how to make the most of this unique but naturally complex relationship.
