This practical course offers a comprehensive refresher or introduction to job evaluation principles and practices, using the ‘Green Book’ – NJC Job Evaluation Scheme for Local Government Services. Ideal for HR professionals and managers involved in job design or grading, the course equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to carry out job evaluations in-house.
Delivered in a supportive and interactive environment, the session ensures a clear understanding of the scheme’s framework and how to apply it consistently and fairly within your organisation.
Who it’s for
HR teams, line managers, or anyone involved in job evaluation processes within local government or similar settings. No prior experience is required, though some familiarity with job roles and structures is helpful.
